ClueLass is the longtime screen alias of Kate Derie, who heads Deadly Serious Press, which publishes the print edition of The Deadly Directory. The site includes the latest mystery fiction news, including a database of new releases in a section titled “The Bookstained Bookshelf.” Although they used to offer an online version of The Deadly Directory (a book with contact information and descriptions for hundreds of booksellers, organizations, publications, events, websites, and more), that part of the web site is no longer updated.

Stop You’re Killing Me
This site has a database of mystery books, alphabetical by author name and character name. Over 2,200 authors are listed with chronological work lists. There are also subject indices of authors/books, including historical (by periods of history in which the books are set), diversity (minorities represnted as characters in mysteries), jobs (mysteries with protagonists or settings in certain fields), and locations. They also have recent award winner lists, and “read alikes” -- if you liked a certain author or type of book, they have recommendations for others in that same vein.
